What is the difference between a regular holiday and a special non-working day?

They differ in pay rules under Philippine labor law: on regular holidays, employees who do not work still receive 100% of their daily wage (and 200% if they work), while special non-working days follow a no-work-no-pay principle unless company policy says otherwise (work is paid at 130%).

Where are Eid'l Fitr and Eid'l Adha in this calendar?

Proclamation No. 1006 states that the two Islamic holidays are declared in separate proclamations once their dates are confirmed against the Islamic calendar. They are added to this calendar as soon as the official proclamations are issued.
